Our story
Started by a parent, not an investor
AutiPath exists because I went looking for autism therapy for my own son and couldn't find what I needed close to home.

When we started looking for extra support for my son Srihan, it was during COVID. The NHS arranged one-to-one support for him at his nursery, which helped, and later provided a block of therapy sessions. It was useful, but it was a fixed, limited amount — and I found myself wanting to understand him, and support him, more than that alone could give us.
We looked at private therapy too. It was expensive, and slots were hard to come by — a familiar story for a lot of parents trying to get consistent, specialist support for their child.
A friend whose own son had been having therapy in Bangalore recommended a speech-language pathologist registered with India's Rehabilitation Council. We started video sessions with her. What stood out wasn't only the therapy — it was that when Srihan wasn't having a good day, I could say so plainly and reschedule, without it being awkward for either of us.
That shaped everything about how I built AutiPath. Some days a child simply isn't in a state for a session, and the platform accepts that as normal: with at least an hour's notice, the parent is never charged for it. AutiPath connects families in the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada and Australia with vetted autism specialists practising in India — speech language therapy, occupational therapy, ABA (behaviour therapy) and parent coaching — the same way I found her, with proper vetting built in.
I started this as a parent who needed it, not as an investor who spotted a gap.
What AutiPath isn't
- AutiPath doesn't provide therapy itself — it connects and vets independent specialists, who deliver the sessions.
- AutiPath doesn't assess your child or advise on what therapy they need — that is the specialist's clinical judgement, with you.
- AutiPath doesn't replace local support from school, the NHS or insurance-funded services — it sits alongside it.
About Murali
Murali is the founder of AutiPath. He built the platform after finding autism therapy support for his own son through an RCI-registered therapist in India, and wanted other families to be able to find that support without having to search as hard as he did.
