Our methodology
How we vet every therapist
No therapist appears on AutiPath because they signed up. Every profile you can see passed the full pipeline below — and profiles go back into review when key details change.
Credentials and registration
- Degree and qualification certificates, collected with every application.
- Professional registration or certification — RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India), AIOTA (All India Occupational Therapists' Association), BACB or QABA, whichever body issued it — every number and expiry checked for every applicant; expiring credentials are tracked and chased.
- Government identity document collected.
- Two professional references with named designations.
- A video introduction, reviewed by the panel.
Clinical panel review
Our clinical review panel scores every application out of 100 across four areas: qualifications, autism-specific experience, English communication, and video presence — plus a pass/fail interview outcome. The threshold for approval is 70, applied to the panel's average. Below-threshold approvals require a written justification from the platform admin, and reviewers score blind — they cannot see each other's scores until they have submitted their own.
Separation of duties
The people who score are not the person who decides: panel reviewers score, the admin decides, and the admin never scores. That separation is enforced by the platform, not by policy documents.
After approval
- Profile changes to qualifications or key details send the profile back into review.
- Reviews from families are moderated before publication.
- Session records include a mandatory parent/guardian-presence confirmation on every single session.
Neuro-affirming practice
Practising this way is not one of the panel's scoring criteria.
- Strengths first — not compliance for its own sake.
- Every form of the child's communication is respected.
- The parent is a partner, present in every session.
- Goals are the ones the family chooses.
Every therapist on AutiPath commits to practising this way.
